Service Description
This summer, your child will put on their 'detective hat' as they work to follow sound clues to unlock secret words... This program promotes pre-reading skills and speech sound development by emphasizing phonological awareness. We use engaging, hands-on activities and visuals to build the following skills: - Sound awareness and identification - Sound blending (pre-reading) - Syllable segmentation - Rhyming Join our Wednesday morning group from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from June 1st to July 27th! This community program is open to all children; however, your child will especially benefit if they have a confirmed or suspected speech sound disorder, language delay, or family history of dyslexia. ***This program is a 2-month commitment (June & July) and costs $150/month. ***Space is limited - we will cap the group at 4 children to ensure individualized attention.
